Terada Akihiro is a Japanese pottery artist living in Futtsu City, Chiba Prefecture.
His style is simple and elegant - but yet rustic The ceramics are only made in simple glazes - mostly light grey/white/black, which creates a natural and soft feel to the pieces. The ceramics are a good example of the Japanese aesthetics, wabi-sabi (侘寂). A worldview centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete".
Each piece is unique.
