Are you eager to learn the art of making ceramics on the pottery wheel in beautiful settings? Then here's your chance. Join us for our ceramic courses at the Yonobi Studio, which is found in the heart of Copenhagen.

Type of Classes

Ceramic course - Day & Evening

At this course, you will learn the basic techniques of turning. You will be able to throw your own cup, vase or bowl. No prerequisites are needed, just the desire to play with the clay. The last two courses are used to finish your work with decorations and glazing. This course at 6 times costs 2.600kr including materials and coffee. The courses are ones a week from 16:30 to 20:00.

Weekend ceramic course

This is a class for you who want two intensive days of learning. The class gives you an introduction on how to make pottery on the wheel. The price for this course, which extends over two days + 1 afternoon in the following week for the glazing of own things, is 1.800kr incl. materials and light lunch and coffee. The courses are held over a weekend from 10-15 + one glazing afternoon typically the following Friday from 17-20.

Summer course NEW!

Join us for our summer ceramic course, where you will experience three intensive days of learning how to throw pottery. The price for this course, which extends over three days + 1 day in the following week for the glazing of your own things, is 2.100kr incl. materials and coffee & snacks.The courses are held over 11-15 + one glazing afternoon typically the following Friday from 12-15.

This spring Yonobi launched a new set of pottery classes for light experienced users. These are courses are for you, who have tried to throw before and wants to focus on more specific techniques or styles.

Meet our teachers

Ceramics Clara Gewecke, who stands behind C for Ceramic. Clara is educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, Design, and Conservation in 2015.
Ceramics Maja Sofie, the artist behind MAJA SOFIE. Maja Sofie is educated at Capellagården in Sweden.
Elisabeth Bondo Martin, Elisabeth graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Schools of Architecture, Design, and Conservation.

Amalie Foldager Christensen, Amalie graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Schools of Architecture, Design, and Conservation.
